In the pursuit of carbon neutrality policies, the development of eco‐friendly and intelligent furniture commands a significant role. However, the integration of non‐biodegradable electronic components in smart furniture fabrication has led to substantial electronic waste. Here, we report a straightforward approach, the rapid production of Laser‐Induced Graphene (LIG) on medium‐density fiberboard (MDF), a prevalent recycled wood in furniture production. This LIG electrode is crafted with negligible material ablation in ambient air with the aid of femtosecond laser pulses, without requiring any additional materials, showcasing the highest electrical conductivity (2.781 Ω sq−1) among previously reported lignocellulosic materials‐based LIG. The application of this LIG electrode for lighting, heating, and touch sensors displays sufficient performance for smart furniture implementation. For eco‐conscious furniture, LIG‐based human‐machine interfaces are demonstrated on recycled woods for the facile control of smart devices, which will readily enable IoT‐oriented smart sustainable furniture.image

We examined the effects of the trade war on US wooden furniture imports by product category (kitchen, bedroom, other) and exporting source (e.g., China, European Union, Vietnam) using a two‐stage demand procedure and general nested demand framework. There were significant competitive relationships across exporting countries. However, when both trade creation and diversion were considered, competitive relationships either diminished or became complementary. Consequently, elimination of the trade‐war tariffs would increase imports from China but would also benefit countries like Vietnam. However, results indicate that imports from China would still be significantly less than pretrade war levels if the tariffs are eliminated.

The sector of contractor companies, directly linked to mining, constitutes a motor of economic development and therefore of improvement in the quality of life of the inhabitants of the locality in which they operate. Like other business organizations, they are considered complex entities and need disruptive management models that take into account economic and social complexity and that allow sustainability by generating profitability. The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship between the integrated management system (GIS) and the profitability of a contractor company in the mining sector, Cajamarca, 2022. For this, a quantitative, correlational, non-experimental cross-sectional study has been carried out. Has been used; using as an instrument that has a validity of total applicability and a reliability of 0.88. The results obtained glimpse the level of significance in each relationship, integrated management systems and profitability (p= .000; r= 812); processes and profitability (p= .000; r= 741); interest group and profitability (p= .005; r= 597). It is concluded that the Integrated Management System is directly and positively related to the profitability of the contractor company belonging to the mining sector.
