Competitive-Type Pressure-Dependent Immunosensor for Highly Sensitive Detection of Diacetoxyscirpenol in Wheat via Monoclonal Antibody

Abstract: Diacetoxyscirpenol (DAS) is a type A trichothecene mycotoxin with low molecular weight, and with respect to its toxicity and the occurrence in food and feed, it is known as a potential risk for public and animal health. In the present study, first, a sensitive and specific monoclonal antibody (5E7) was developed. Then, the antibody was applied to develop a competitive-type pressure-dependent immunosensor (CTPDI). The Au@PtNP was synthesized and labeled with goat antimouse antibody (Au@PtNPs-IgG). Finally, the … Show more

“…During FJs extraction, PME is released, hydrolysing the pectin and changing it gradually into the pectic-acids and tolowmethoxy pectin. These insoluble compounds interact with calcium ions [30] , [31] , induces the precipitation of the pectin and loss of cloud in FJs [9] , [32] , [33] . Another FJs natural enzyme, namely LOX, is responsible for the production of volatile flavours and free radicals in many FJs, causing colour and nutritional losses through the oxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) into hydroperoxides.…”

“…Following previous reports on cyclic divalent species, [ 20–28 ] organic compounds and nanostructures, [ 29–45 ] now we compare and contrast new rNHGes ( 1–10 ) by fusion of one benzene, pyrrole, phosphole, furan and thiophene ring in “ ortho ‐ or zigzag” arrangement and “ para ‐ or chair” arrangement to 1 H ‐4‐germapyridine‐4‐ylidene ( 1 ) as the reference germylene.…”

“…This type of sensor is characterized by good reproducibility of measurement, low production cost, fast response, high sensitivity and selectivity, and chemical and mechanical stability in aggressive environments [ 40 46 ]. Nanostructured materials are widely used as the working surface of the electrode [ 47 49 ]. The most common are transition metal nanoparticles [ 33 , 37 , 50 54 ], carbon nanotubes [ 8 ], metal oxides [ 55 64 ], graphene [ 32 33 ], and ordered mesoporous carbon [ 38 , 65 66 ].…”
