Abstract:A set of V-grid reflectors fed with a single dipole and also with several different Yagi antennas is analyzed by the moment method. New information is provided on the comparative performance of these aerials, as well as the optimum α angle of the corner reflector. It is shown that, when fed with a single dipole, this aerial has a better bandwidth than in the case when a Yagi is used as exciter. However, this last configuration provides better gain and sidelobe levels, which makes it particularly useful for poi… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
