Comparison of V-Grid Reflectors Fed with a Single Dipole or with Yagi Antennas

Abstract: A set of V-grid reflectors fed with a single dipole and also with several different Yagi antennas is analyzed by the moment method. New information is provided on the comparative performance of these aerials, as well as the optimum α angle of the corner reflector. It is shown that, when fed with a single dipole, this aerial has a better bandwidth than in the case when a Yagi is used as exciter.
