“…Some ingredients are known while others are unknown. In order to synthetically evaluate the information of fingerprints, AHP combined with CRITIC was carried out to calculate synthetic scores according to our previous work [9] . We optimized the machine decocting method based on mark ingredients contents and synthetic scores.…”

“…Contents of mark ingredients were obtained according to calibration curves using SPSS software (SPSS for Windows 17.0, SPSS Corporation, USA). Synthetic scores were calculated according to synthetic weights based on AHP combined with CRITIC [9] , [10] . In this mathematic model, Dahuang was the most important herb like the monarch, so the principal anthraquinones in Dahuang such as emodin, rhein and aloe-emodin were the first critical layer elements, but the influences were negative because the purgative effects decreased when anthraquinone glycosides were transferred into anthraquinones.…”

“…Herbs from different origins were compared. The results showed the synthetic scores of province Heibei were higher than Shanxi [5]. Nevertheless, whether chemical fingerprints reflect effects need to be further confirmed.…”

“…Four batches of Qin Bing eye drops (Lot 100713, 100715, 100811 and 100819) were prepared at Long hua hospital (Shanghai, China). According to the content of main ingredients and synthetic scores of HPLC fingerprints [5] two batches respectively from province Heibei (Lot100715) and Shanxi (Lot 100819) were selected for animal experiments ( Table 1) :00) and humidity were between 40% and 70%. All rabbits were raised in stainless steel cages with 2 rabbits per cage.…”

“…In this article, the entropy method is used to determine the weight of each variable. There are many methods used in the literature for weighing, such as the Analytical Hierarchy Process (Lee, Mogi, & Kim, 2008;Zhao, Zhou, Xie, & Li, 2011) and the Analytical Network Process (Bayazit & Karpak, 2007;Khadivi & Fatemi Ghomi, 2012). However, these methods are only suitable if there is a need to consult the experts' or decision-makers' opinions.…”
