However, newer literature from Turkey found the MFS inferior to an alternative measure, upholding the concerns regarding sensitivity and specificity (Kuş, Büyükyilmaz & ARDıÇ 2023) and poor diagnostic performance (De Oliveira Silva et al 2023).
