“…Thermal evaporation is another technique to deposit TE thin films onto flexible substrates. In this technique, the TE material is evaporated in a vacuum, where allows the vapour particles to travel to the target substrate and condense back to the solid state in the form of a thin film [104]. Therefore, Karthikeyan et al [105] applied this technique to deposit p-type Tin telluride(SnTe) and n-type Lead Telluride (PbTe) thin films onto a flexible polyimide substrate.…”

“…The coordinates of (0.628, 0.370), (0.619, 0.379) and (0.614, 0.385) are observed for as-grown and 473 K and 523 K annealed films, respectively, from the CIE diagram. 42 In the current case, the emission occurred in greater energy ranges than optical bandgaps. This behaviour occurs mostly due to the following reasons, such as excitonic effects, defects and impurities and other Auger recombinations.…”

“…Firstly, increased transparency is observed in the Bi 2 Te 2.70 Se 0.30 thin layer in contrast to the Bi 2 Te 3 thin film. Secondly, the Bi 2 Te 2.70 Se 0.30 thin film exhibits a larger grain size (21.8 nm) in comparison to that of the Bi 2 Te 3 thin film (10.8 nm) [21]. Despite the potential of various TE materials such as PbTe, GeTe, Bi 2 Te 2.70 Se 0.30 , and Bi 0.5 Sb 1.50 Te 3 , challenges related to excessive expense and inefficiency have limited their widespread utilization in diverse applications.…”
