Comparison of the Yield and Chemical Composition of Eleven Timothy (Phleum pratense L.) Genotypes under Three Locations in Poland

Abstract: Field trials were conducted in the years 2017–2019 at the Małopolska Plant Breeding in the Plant Breeding Stations in Polanowice, Nieznanice and Palikije. The trials were designed to determine the yield of some timothy genotypes in the context of chemical composition under different habitat conditions. “…As indicated by the results of Kitczak et al [30] on organic soils, Festulolium braunii performs better (maintaining the share in the sward at 52 to 100% after 6 years) on organics soils than Lolium perenne.
