Abstract:Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) is a rare disease characterized by frequent fractures and deformities of the bone skeleton due to collagen abnormalities. Clinically, OI is heterogeneous in its features and varies in severity. Frequent fractures as a result of brittle bones lead to malunion and deformity, which increases the risk of refraction.
