Abstract:Regional anesthesia can provide greater patient satisfaction. An infraclavicular approach to block the brachial plexus aided with ultrasound is proven to be safe. Lesser toxic, levobupivacaine, advocates its use, with the addition of dexamethasone, to prolong the action.
