Abstract: Description of subject. The National Institute of Agronomic Research (IRA), with the collaboration of Africa-Rice, introduced around one hundred varieties of rainfed rice in 2010 in the Republic of Congo. This action helps to correct the food deficit, reduce massive rice imports and address food insecurity in the country.
