This study aims to determine the level of physical condition of Vasco Futsal Academy players in Lamongan Regency. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were Vasco Futsal Academy players, totaling 20 people. The data collection process was taken using one FIK Jogja battery tes instrumen which included passing, dribbling, and shooting. Overall, the results of the Vasco Futsal Academy's basic futsal tes results showed 10% “very good”, 15% “good”, 40% “moderate” and 30% “poor”, and 5% “very poor”. The conclusion obtained in this study is that the level of mastery of the basic skills of playing futsal by Vasco Futsal Academy players generally shows sufficient results, which is indicated by 40% being in the "enough " category.

Purpose. The aim of this study was to determine the maturity-related variations in anthropometry, physical fitness, and sport-specific skills among young male and female futsal players. Methods. Overall, 77 athletes (44 boys and 33 girls) aged 10.5-13.7 (12.3 ± 0.9) years were measured for stature, body mass, 2 skinfolds, as well as 3 fitness and 2 sport-specific test items. Results. Compared with boys, girls were significantly more advanced in maturation and had greater body mass index and body fat percentage. Except for the countermovement jump result, boys outperformed girls in all fitness and sport-skill assessments. Regardless of gender, early maturing players were significantly taller and heavier and had higher body fat percentage and grip strength than their late maturing counterparts. In boys, none of the other physical fitness and sport-specific skill measures significantly differed between contrasting maturity groups. In turn, early maturing girls had significantly better scores in all physical fitness measurements than late maturing girls. Partial correlations, with chronological age controlled as a covariate, indicated moderate to high correlations between the maturation indicator and stature and body mass in both boys and girls. Except for grip strength and dribbling tests for boys and girls, respectively, other physical fitness and sport-specific skill measures did not show a significant correlation with maturity status. Conclusions. These results highlight that rather than with functional and sport-specific characteristics, physical maturity status may be associated with greater body size in young futsal players.

Purpose. The aim of the study was to develop a model of the efficiency of actions of goalkeepers from top-level futsal teams. Methods. Goalkeepers' activity, successful activity, and effectiveness were estimated with the consideration of accomplishing the game objectives in offence and defence and of the changing match status. The study applied the method of observation. Data about the game were registered on a self-developed observation sheet. Overall, 62 games of 23 goalkeepers participating in 31 matches of the World and European championships and the UEFA Futsal cup played in years 2012-2015 were observed. Results. It was found that actions to gain the playfield with the ball (41% of all actions) and to prevent a loss of a goal (28.2%) dominated in futsal goalkeepers' game. Offensive actions accounted for 58% and defensive actions for 42% of all actions undertaken by the studied futsal goalkeepers in the observed matches. The examined competitors achieved the highest effectiveness in keeping the ball (97%) and in preventing scoring situations (96%). Conclusions. The created model mapping the top-skilled goalkeepers' actions allows improving the process of coaching players by referring their game to objective patterns.
