Abstract:A comparison was made between invasive and noninvasive indices of left ventricular function in patients with and without coronary artery disease. In patients with three vessel disease, dp/dt max was lower and Δ PEP longer than in normal individuals. In patients with left ventricular dyskinesia, dp/dt max and cardiac index were significantly lower and ΔPEP was longer than in patients with normal left ventriculograms. Both dp/dt max and noninvasive indices Δ PEP and PEP/LVET) were found to be sensitive indices o… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
