Abstract: Previous studies have shown that a thermomechanical treatment (TMT) consisting of cyclic plastic deformation in the temperature range of dynamic strain aging can increase the fatigue limit of quenched and tempered steels by strengthening the microstructure around non-metallic inclusions.
