Comparison of the acentric properties for the oxide crystals

Abstract

The indistinct empiric linear correlation between values of nonlinear optical (NLO) and piezoelectric properties, spontaneous polarization and NLOproperties has been established for noncentrosymmetric (NCS) oxide crystals. But nonlinear empiric correlation with the maxi-mum has been found between piezoelectric -electrooptic, and piezoelectric -non-linear optical properties of these ones. These data has been useful at search of the most op-timal materials for optoelectronic devices.Index Terms -oxide crystals; piezoelectric, electrooptic and nonlinear optical properties, spontaneous polarization.
