Comparison of test performance of biochemical parameters in semiautomatic method and fully automatic analyzer method

Abstract: Background: The primary health-care center (PHC) and community health center (CHC) are not well equipped with laboratory services. Semiauto analyzer-based reporting could be an effective modality, provided that the performance standard is comparable to that of the fully automatic analyzer. So, the objective of this study was to analyze the test results of biochemical parameters in semiauto and fully automatic analyzer and to compare the quality performance. “…All patients were assessed for their demographic profile and screened for their fasting blood glucose (FBG), gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT), albumin (ALB), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), bicarbonate (HCO 3 ), uric acid, and bilirubin using a semi-automated clinical chemistry analyzer as described before ( Kumari et al, 2020 ).…”

“…The technique known as “spitting” was used to collect the saliva that had not been stimulated. 18 The collection of saliva samples took place in the morning, specifically between the hours of 9 and 11 a.m. During this time samples were collected, the patient was instructed to remain in the dental chair with her head inclined forward and not to speak, swallow. The patients was instructed to spit their saliva into a clean graduated container once every minute for approximately 10 mins.…”
