Abstract:This paper focused on the investigation of the blades for a carousel rotor of a wind turbine with a vertical axis. Cross sections of the single coherent (SC) and the dual coherent (DC) blades were compared in terms of the aerodynamic forces and aerodynamic torque generated during rotor operation for various wind attack angles.
