Comparison of scanner method and stamp pad method for dermatoglyphic patterns

Abstract: Dermatoglyphics are useful in anthropological, medico legal and genetic studies. Hereditary and prenatal environmental factors leading to malocclusion may also influence fingerprint patterns which are classified into arches, loops and whorls.
