Comparison of Pediatric Performance Athlete Injuries Presenting to Emergency Departments

Abstract: loss of one to three weeks, and 9.8% in a time loss of more than three weeks (other: 21.2%). Quarterbacks (15.6%) and tight ends (13.2%) most commonly returned to play in less than one week. Conversely, defensive tackles/nose guards (13.3%), defensive ends (11.5%), and off guards (11.4%) most commonly returned to play more than three weeks after injury.
