“…Thus, there were finding advanced satisfaction scores related to the implant-retained overdentures higher than conventional complete denture by 36%. (7)(8)(9) Number, length and diameter of the implants were detected by the quantity and quality of the available jaw bones. (10) Overdentures were retained by conventional implants showed better long-term results but also there was some restrictions such as: reduced buccolingual dimensions that increase the difficultly of insertion of the implant without the need for bone-grafting procedures .Also , the existence of chronic systemic diseases that might stop the progressive surgeries as bone grafts and lateralization of the inferior alveolar nerve moreover the financial limitation may affect the whole prosthetic treatment plan .…”

“…In addition to issues related to neuromuscular coordination and the inability of the denture to form a tight seal with the surrounding soft tissues, patients have a lot of dissatisfaction and inability to masticate with the conventional complete denture. (1) The introduction of dental implants, have revolutionized the field of prosthodontics. It has provided various treatment options for edentulous individuals such as removable prosthesis, fixed prosthesis with implant-supported overdenture, and hybrid prostheses.…”

“…The results showed that edentulous patients’ general satisfaction and OHRQoL is improved after receiving implant-based overdentures, and is even better after utilizing implant-fixed prosthesis [ 3 ]. The difference between the maxillary and mandibular arches has been reviewed, and the literature suggests that the mandibular arch is more challenging in which to achieve rehabilitation goals due to the arch mobility, tongue motion, limited keratinized gingival cover, and the decreased surface area when compared to the maxillary arch and palate [ 5 ]. It has been proven in a lot of studies that fixed prosthetics are preferable to patients when compared to conventional complete dentures and implant-retained prostheses, which coincides with our cases, because all of them refused to opt for a removable prosthesis despite the lower cost, and easier hygiene; therefore, they all elected to opt for implant-based rehabilitation.…”
