Comparison of palonosetron with granisetron for prevention of postoperative nausea and vomiting in patients undergoing laparoscopic abdominal surgery

Abstract: Background:In patients undergoing laparoscopic surgeries, postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) is a serious concern. With an incidence of 46%–72%, PONV hampers the postoperative recovery in spite of the availability of many antiemetic drugs.
