Abstract:INTRODUCTION: Hypertension is a common medical disorder in pregnancy, complicating one in ten pregnancies. There is a documented association of untreated hypertension during pregnancy and adverse fetomaternal outcomes. Options for oral antihypertensive include methyldopa, nifedipine and lately labetalol.
