Comparison of optimization techniques for the Monte Carlo simulation of clearance monitors

Abstract: In this work, simulations of the clearance monitor HWM-1800 (Ludlum GmbH, Hamburg) with the Monte Carlo (MC) code FLUKA were performed and optimized.
