Zhang et al found that SeY antagonizes the inflammatory damage caused by Cd to chicken cardiomyocytes through the NF-κB signaling pathway [ 52 ], and Wang et al showed that the addition of Se could effectively downregulated the high-expression of NF-κB gene in chicken kidney tissue caused by Cd exposure [ 34 ].
