Fuzzy and SVM Based Classification Model to Classify Spectral Objects in Sloan Digital Sky

The Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) comprises about one billion objects classified spectrometrically. Because astronomical datasets are so enormous, manually classifying them is nearly impossible-a huge dataset results in class imbalance and overfitting. We recommend a framework in this research study that overcomes these constraints. The framework uses a hybrid Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique + Edited Nearest Neighbor (SMOTE + ENN) balancer. The balanced dataset is then used to extract features via a non-linear algorithm using Kernel Principal Component Analysis (KPCA). The features are then passed into the proposed Int-T2-Fuzzy Support Vector Machine classifier, which uses a modified type reducer and inference engine to achieve more precise categorization. Using the Sloan Digital Sky Survey dataset and a number of evaluation metrics, the SMOTE+ENN model's performance is measured. The research shows that the model does a good job.

This paper dealt with one of the spatial interpolation methods in the geostatistics field. The purpose of this research is to get the parameters of unbiased estimators based on regionalized random variables in spatial statistics. In this paper, we used universal kriging with the fuzzy inference system by the Mamdani technique. the objective of this work is to estimate the parameters of covariance functions relying on spatial real for the depth of groundwater in Mosul city, Iraq. The data adopted contains (100) real data with locations representing the depth. From the results we show the best model with the constructs of weights, we illustrate the performance of universal kriging is the best when corresponding with the fuzzy system. In conclusion, the improvement of any method of spatial interpolation or fuzzy system does not depend on more statistical structures but depends on the efficiency of the method which satisfies the conditions of weights and minimum variance errors. All programming is applied by Matlab language.

Universitas Wiralodra merupakan Universitas swasta pertama di Indramayu, terletak di Kota Indramayu, Jawa Barat. Seiring dengan perjalanannya, Universitas Wiralodra terus berbenah untuk meningkatkan kapasitasnya, melalui peningkatan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) Dosen, Manajemen, kegiatan mahasiswa, penelitian dan publikasi, serta perbaikan sarana dan prasarana kampus. Kelulusan merupakan suatu hal yang dapat diharapkan oleh setiap mahasiswa, yang nantinya akan menjadi bekal seseorang mahasiswa dalam menempuh jenjang selanjutnya. Permasalahannya apakah mahasiswa Universitas Wiralodra bisa lulus dengan maksimal atau tidak. Dalam penelitian lebih memfokuskan bagaimana implementasi teori logika fuzzy dalam memprediksi tingkat kelulusan mahasiswa Universitas Wiralodra. Teori logika fuzzy ini digunakan karena mudah untuk dimengerti. Pada Penelitian ini menggunakan teori fuzzy tsukamoto dengan 2 variabel input yang terdiri dari jumlah penerimaan wisuda dan jumlah mahasiswa yang akan menhasilkan status jumlah mahasiswa yang lulus. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk memprediksi jumlah mahasiswa yang lulus dalam setiap tahunnya di Universitas Wiralodra Indramayu. Pada penelitian selanjutnya agar keputusan dalam menganalisis kondisi tingkat kelulusan mahasiswa agar digabungkan metode fuzzy tsukamoto dan markov chain agar masalah yang terjadi dalam memprediksi tingkat kelulusan mahasiswa dapat lebih akurat.
