Comparison of Dose-Response Curves with Subcutaneous Histamine and Pentagastrin. Variations of Acid Secretion in Relation with Time

Abstract: Dose-response curves were obtained from 9 adult control subjects and 18 patients with duodenal ulcer, both with s.c. histamine acid phosphate (1.6, 2.0, 2.4, 2.8, 3.2 mg) and s.c. pentagastrin (250, 300, 350, 400, 450 μg) in single dose at different intervals of time with a view to compare the highest values of acid output.
