Comparison of diagnostic methods in the diagnosis of dermatomycoses and onychomycoses

Abstract: Direct microscopic examination of potassium hydroxide (KOH)-prepared specimens is the simplest, cheapest method used for the diagnosis of mycotic infections of the skin.
