“…in liquid flowing LiPb has been investigated [11][12][13][14], and the corrosion results of Eurofer 97 steel showed that there is a dramatic increase in corrosion rate and suffered more serious corrosion attack from 480 • C to 550 • C in flowing LiPb [14]. Although the CLAM steel showed good compatibility with liquid LiPb at 480 • C with the flowing velocity of 0.08 m/s [15], should be investigated that the corrosion behavior of CLAM steel in static and flowing LiPb with higher flowing velocity at 480 • C and 550 • C in order to reveal the corrosion mechanism of CLAM steel in liquid LiPb.…”

“…Corrosion test of some RAFMs in liquid PbLi have been performed, results show that the typical steel elements were dissolved in the test [3][4][5]. The research of corrosion resistance of RAFM steels in liquid LiPb also shows that it varied with corrosion conditions, due to the existence of passivation layer, the incubation period of tempering RAFM steel appear in the initial stage of corrosion; As the flow velocity of liquid LiPb increases and corrosion temperature rises, corrosion amount increases; There is not any penetration of LiPb [3,4] for long time exposure. In China, many efforts have been made to design LiPb blanket and investigate the corrosion behaviors of tempering CLAM in liquid LiPb [6,7].…”
