Comparison of Calculated and Recorded Electron Energy-Loss Spectra of Aluminium and Carbon

Abstract: Quantitative electron energy-loss spectroscopy (EELS) needs a correction for the limited collection aperture α and a deconvolution of recorded spectra for eliminating the influence of multiple inelastic scattering.
