“…This present study TIVA group (P) compared to Inhalational group(S) showed; significantly decreased systemic hemodynamics (HR, MAP, and PETCO2) which can be attributed to one of two or both explanation; The 1 st is the negative inotropic& chronotropic effects of Propofol itself. In line with our result explanation, Hino etal.,2019 [21] who advised superiority of Thiopental over Propofol for avoiding hypotension during GA induction. Contrary to our hemodynamic results, Lauta E etal 2010 [22] reported no significant hemodynamic differences with either propofol or sevoflurane.…”

“…It can inhibit cell death by reducing the expression of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) and TNFR1 proteins, which is conducive to perioperative cerebral protection without affecting cerebrovascular hemodynamics. 17,18 Sufentanil has a strong affinity for opioid receptors, resulting in a more vigorous analgesic intensity and a longer duration of action than remifentanil. However, the metabolism of sufentanil is mainly dependent on liver blood flow.…”

“…Hypotension is frequently observed as a side effect during induction of anesthesia using propofol [20][21][22]. A phase I clinical trial for remimazolam revealed that a 1-min bolus infusion of remimazolam 0.01-0.30 mg/kg did not cause hypotension, which was defined as systolic blood pressure lower than 80 mmHg, except one occurrence of hypotension 8 h after the dose of remimazolam [2].…”
