Comparison analysis of accuracy and precision on GNSS K706 Oem Board and GPS Topcon HiperPro

Abstract: GNSS technology has been widely used in the field of surveys and mapping. According to Abidin this is because GNSS can be used regardless of time, is not affected by the topography of the survey area, and provides accuracy with a wide spectrum. GNSS technology also has several disadvantages, one of which is price. The tool used to implement GNSS technology has a high price, for example is the geodetic type which has prices ranging from hundreds of millions of rupiah. The last few years have found low-cost GNSS… Show more

“…Sub-centimeter accuracy in horizontal positioning can be obtained using a GNSS receiver which has a price of around 100 million -300 million rupiah. However, for now, low-cost GNSS receivers have been developed with accuracy reaching sub-meters [3], [5], [10]. This receiver makes it easy for surveyors and researchers to carry out their activities.…”

“…Another activity related to the analysis of low-cost GNSS receivers has also been carried out by [3] by comparing the accuracy between low-cost GNSS receivers and total stations. This paper aims to test the accuracy of several low-cost GNSS products, such as products from Trimble with the BD982 model, low-cost GNSS U-blox F9 series, namely F9P and F9R and will later be validated with observational data from Comnav with the previous K708 Oem Board model [8] has been tested with GNSS Geodetic S800 from Stonex products [2].…”

“…Low-cost GNSS has also been used in several studies. Some of them are land measurements, I-boat navigation and various other measurement activities with accuracy reaching the order of centimeters in real-time kinematic measurements [3][4][5][6].…”

“…These solutions focus on enhancing measurement quality through dual frequency geodetic receivers or maintaining high accuracy at competitive prices, even for extensive monitoring projects (Poluzzi et al, 2020). Low-cost GNSS has found applications in various domains, such as land parcel measurements, intelligent boat navigation, and diverse measurement activities, achieving accuracies in the order of centimeters through real-time kinematic methods (Cahyadi et al, 2019;Cahyadi et al, 2021;Taufik et al, 2019). However, integrating low-cost GNSS with GIS, especially in the Geocoding process applicable to mobile applications, remains an unexplored area in prior research.…”
