Comparing working conditions and job satisfaction in hospitality workers across Europe

Abstract: Highlights The study explores the influence of the institutional context on job satisfaction. The research develops a multilevel analysis that considers institutional and organizational factors. Data of 22792 employees of 16 European countries from the Sixth European Working Conditions Survey are part of the sample. A novel classification of countries according to their working conditions is provided.
