First of all, I need to thank my advisor Fernando Castor for the continuous support during the entire master's degree program, specially during the time I moved away from Brazil. He motivated me to continue to work on our project and together I believe we achieved quite a lot. I would not have been able to finish this master's degree program if it wasn't for his hard work and dedication. It was indeed a good choice to have him as my advisor. I have to also thank my wife Carolina Linard for pushing me forward so many times and for being very comprehensive while I stayed many nights awake to keep up with my work's schedule and the master's degree program schedule at the same time. Also, my mother, and some close friends were counting on me to finish this master's degree, so I had to keep that in mind to motivate me further. Finally, I must thank CIn-UFPE for providing the most adequate infrastructure for our research; for hiring the best professors one could have access for; and for having an incredible staff that supported me through difficult and bureaucratic times.
