“…ATR-IR results showed ( Figure 4B ) that the cell sediment under Pb stress increased the peak position related to PO 4 3− at 565 cm −1 , 603 cm −1 , 965 cm −1 ( Botto et al, 1997 ; Wei et al, 2021 ). In addition, the O-C-O stretching vibration peak of 782 cm −1 ( Mancilla et al, 2009 ) and the C-O bond peak of 1289 cm −1 , 1312 cm −1 , 1386 cm −1 were enhanced ( Mancilla et al, 2009 ; Salavati-Niasari et al, 2009 ).…”

“…This is related to the stability of lead oxalate. It has been demonstrated and observed that lead oxalate is a stable phase in the presence of oxalate over a wide range of environments [12,46]. Therefore, oxalic acid The carbonate-bearing solutions that can be used for desulphurization of lead sulfates include NaHCO 3 alone, mixtures of NaHCO 3 and Na 2 CO 3 , Na 2 CO 3 alone, and (NH 4 ) 2 CO 3 solutions.…”

“…OA is a strong chelating effect forming chelates with Pb 2+ , hence, decreases the oxidative peak current. It was reported previously, that Cu 2+ detection was interfered in presence of OA using nanoscale hydroxyapatite (nHAP, Ca 10 (PO 4 ) 6 (OH) 2 ) modified electrode due to the formation of strong coordinating bond between OA and Cu 2+ , which significantly lowered the concentration of Cu 2+ and further inhibited the ion exchange between Ca of nHAP and Cu 2+ [51]. Interesting to observe that a wide range of cations do not interfere with the Pb 2+ detection which points to the potential of Ag(NPs)/ChS/GC in the efficient detection of Pb 2+ from aqueous medium.…”
