“…For patients with polycystic ovary infertility, in addition to ovulation induction, the fundamental purpose of the treatment is to improve the pregnancy rate. Letrozole [ 21 23 ] is a new type of ovulation induction drug, belonging to the third generation nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitors. Inhibition of aromatase blocks the synthesis and conversion of androgens to estrogens, thereby rapidly regulating androgen and estrogen levels in PCOS patients.…”
