Comparing pathways for electricity-based production of dimethoxymethane as a sustainable fuel

Abstract: A hierarchical methodology for process design and evaluation reveals how the remarkable achievements in catalyst development for dimethoxymethane (DMM) synthesis can make DMM a sustainable future e-fuel.
