Comparative toxicology of phenolic compounds using root elongation method

Abstract: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development both recommend cucumber, lettuce, radish, red clover and wheat as plant species for terrestrial toxicity tests.
