Abstract:Crystallization kinetic parameter estimation is important for the classification, design, and scale-up of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. This study investigates the impact of supersaturation and temperature on the induction time, nucleation rate, and growth rate for the compounds lamivudine (slow kinetics) and aspirin (fast kinetics). Adaptive Bayesian optimization (AdBO) has been used to predict experimental conditions that achieve target crystallization kinetic values for each of these parameters of… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
