Comparative Study of Speed Protocols in Wireless Sensor Network

Abstract: Wireless sensor network (WSN) [1] is based on distributed event-based system that is different from the traditional communication network. The main goal of the network is to deliver a data packet with the highest efficiency and quality of service. In WSN, Quality of service (QoS) [2] is an important performance indicator, therefore the QoS routing protocols are designed to provide more efficiency and quality of service. Here they concentrate on SPEED [3] protocol (Stateless Protocol for End to End Delay) is a … Show more

“…It divides the whole network area into two sub-networks called sub-clusters, then further divide into more smaller clusters, till the desired number of clusters is achieved. To provide complete coverage all across the field, CHs are positioned at a maximum distance [14]. This technique employs a CH-to-CH multiple hop data transmission policies to determine the most energyefficient transmission path.…”

“…In this work, Neural Network is applied to evaluate QoS parameter and get the optimized path. Some of these addressed protocols were compared and analyzed in [65] through proposed energy model to verify the acceptable performance.…”
