Abstract:Ethynyloestradiol was administered to rabbits, guinea pigs and rats, and the concentration of the steroid in blood was measured by radioimmunoassay. In both rabbits and guinea pigs, levels of conjugated steroid were much higher than those of the freely extractable form.
