Comparative study of cloud platforms to develop a Chatbot

Abstract: Before chatbots there were simply bots: The invention of a chatbot brought us to the new era of technology, the era of conversation service. A chatbot is a virtual person that can effectively talk to any human being with the help of interactive conversion textual skill. Now a days there are many cloud-based platforms available for developing and deploying the chatbot such as Microsoft bot framework, IBM Watson, Kore, AWS lambda, Microsoft Azure bot service, Chatfuel, Heroku and many more but all those techniqu… Show more

“…Several things need to be work-out such as how to optimize the capabilities of Travel Chatbot, i.e., the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the system to provide reliable feedback and predict consumer behavior and increase customer satisfaction. All the transactions using Travel Chatbot must be linked to a Blockchain system to minimize fraud and data falsification [30,[35][36][37][38][39].…”

“…In order to automate conversational processes, human experts need to structure conversations in decision trees that display every possible follow-up question and possible answers to those questions [10,17]. After releasing a chatbot into the live system, the human user can interact with it via a user interface (UI), such as a popup window integrated on a website [17], Facebook Messenger, Skype or Slack [15]. Thereby, a chatbot is able to gather knowledge during each interaction with a human user and improve its accuracy of mapping incoming questions to correct answers within a corresponding decision tree [12,17].…”

“…Suitable processes for automation should be rule-based, non-complex, standardized and executed in high volumes [2,8,10,17,21,24]. The development of both systems usually requires no in-depth programming knowledge, but rather processes can be graphically modeled within the respective system [15,20,24]. However, before processes can be automated through the development of the respective robots, appropriate process knowledge has to be acquired [10,17,21].…”

“…However, for natural language processing ability, the development of chatbot is an arduous task. Chatbots are applicable in many fields such as in education, traveling, real estate, internet, gaming, education, ecommerce, hospitality and health, call centers, media, financial bot insurance banks, business, traveling customer service and in shopping [4][5][6] 2 .…”
