Abstract:In this paper, the adsorption behaviors of water vapor in nonswelling clays (chlorite and kaolinite) and swelling clay (montmorillonite) were researched, and the thermodynamics characteristics about the adsorption for water vapor in three clays were systematically analyzed. The results display that montmorillonite has the highest adsorption affinity and adsorption ability for water vapor, while the adsorption affinity and uptake for water vapor on chlorite are the lowest. In montmorillonite, the uptake for sec… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
