Abstract:Background: Nowadays, anesthesiologists are evaluating several analgesic adjuncts to minimize opioid use during craniotomy. Some studies have evaluated the analgesic-sparing effect of intravenous infusion of dexmedetomidine and lidocaine on intraoperative hemodynamics and post-operative analgesia.
