Abstract: INTRODUCTION: A stula-in-ano, is a chronic abnormal communication, usually lined by granulation tissue, which runs outwards from the anorectal lumen. The standards of anal stula surgery are to obliterate the stula, prevent recurrence and maintain sphincter work.
