Comparative in vitro evaluation between platelet concentrates from buffy-coat pooling storage in 100% plasma and 80% platelet additive solution SSP+

Abstract: Aims: To compare the quality of platelet concentrates obtained from buffy-coat stored in pooled plasma during days 1–5, those stored in additive solution during days 1–5 and 7 processed in UMAE HE Puebla Blood Bank, to evaluate the efficacy of platelet additive solutions.
