Abstract: Background: Compared to physical and chemical methods, microbial lignocellulosic degradation is a green process. Bacillus is an excellent organic matter degrader, and it has exhibited various abilities required for lignocellulose degradation, including the degradation of cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin.
