Abstract:ObjectiveTo evaluate the usefulness of metagenomic analysis in the search for causative organisms of bacterial endophthalmitis.Methods and analysisTwenty-one consecutive treatment-naïve patients (13 men and 8 women; mean age, 60.8±19.8 years) with suspected endophthalmitis were recruited.
