Abstract:Epithelial Mesenchymal Transition (EMT), is an evolutionary conserved developmental program, has been implicated in carcinogenesis and confers metastatic properties upon cancer cells by enhancing mobility, invasion and resistance to apoptotic stimuli. When EMT occur the connection between the cells were broken, their cytoskeleton was rearranged, and the ability of migration, invasion and apoptosis can be changed.
