Abstract:The acquisition of data about dynamic foot-ground pressures has been possible for some time. The amount of data collected in such studies is large, and a method of data compression is presented which allows rapid comparison between one patient and another, sequential visits, or of left-right asymmetry. Both qualitative and quantitative assessments are provided for and the display is entirely contained within a single A4 size sheet of paper.
