Comparative analysis of the SPL genes among four Ipomoea species and the evidence for a role of some IbSPLs in storage root development in sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas)

Abstract: Background As a major family of plant-specific transcription factors, SQUAMOSA PROMOTER BINDING PROTEIN-LIKE (SPL) genes play crucial regulatory roles in plant growth, development, and stress tolerance.
