Comparative Analysis of the Indian and Canadian Real Estate Markets

Abstract: Financial and real estate crises have been the most prevalent forms of economic catastrophe over the past three decades. In 2008, India endured a financial crisis unprecedented in its history. Canada seems to be creating a real estate bubble recently; Bloomberg Economics puts Canada as the OECD’s second greatest housing bubble in 2019 and 2021. In the case of the Indian real estate bubble, the capital and large cities saw the largest increase in house prices initially, then comparable increase spread gradually… Show more

“…The experimental value of the elastic modulus of a nanofiber composite mat was 917 ± 8 MPa, while numerical simulation predicted a value of 913 MPa. The ROM model predicted an elastic modulus of 957.5 MPa, and the Tsai-Pagano model underestimated the value by 758.24 MPa [31].…”

“…Comparing the predictions of the RVE model with publicly available experimental data [31] served to verify and confirm the validity of the model. The findings of this work indicate that the RVE model is a useful tool for forecasting the mechanical behaviour of nanofiber composite polymeric mats [32].…”

“…Social housing permits collaboration between the public and private sectors to create housing, and the private sector obtaining subsidies and assistance from the local government to build these dwellings [45]. It may be further disputed in connection to government policy, since the government would hold vacant land and underused historical buildings [46]. Government policy support would be vital for repurposing and transforming property into social housing [47; 48].…”

“…1. To support the quick production of safe, habitable, and acceptable disaster-resilient housing and community recovery, there must be an integrated strategy and a coordinated chain of activities and stakeholders in the chaotic, dynamic, and complex reconstruction environment (Sanchaniya et al, 2022;Yumarni & Amaratungga, 2017). From damage/impact assessments to actual rebuilding execution, reconstruction following catastrophes conceptually progresses through five phases of development (Fig.…”
